Ephemeral Artery

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Designed Specifically For Dancers and Movement Professionals

June 5 - September 13, 2026

Are you a movement professional looking for a yoga teacher training program that takes into account your unique body of knowledge and experience? Are you interested in professional development in a cohort of peers invested in the intersections of social practice and movement practice? This 200-hour Yoga Alliance Registered YTT program is for you!

The Ephemeral Artery YTT is tailored for dancers, movers, and shakers, allowing their embodied movement practices to guide their yoga teaching methodology. Though the program was developed with dancers in mind, it caters to anyone who already has a baseline understanding of how the human body moves along with their own embodied movement practices. The training is ideal for practitioners with movement backgrounds including gymnastics, martial arts, Pilates, physical theatre, and even kinesiologists and certified personal trainers.

Focusing on the vinyasa lineage (with mindful attention to pranayama and energetics) and a thorough integration of anatomical and pedagogical tools, the program will encourage trainees to develop a holistic understanding of the yoga tradition. The training will provide ample time for the study of yogic philosophy and history while making space for inquiry and discussion of yoga’s contemporary applications.

“I aspire to engage students in a mindful and meaningful relationship with yoga that ignites a deeper sense of response-ability. I believe that an embodied life is a critical component for individual and collective liberation, and intend to support trainees in exploring the relationship between self-study and social practice. This program is geared for socially conscious practitioners who seek opportunities to deepen their understanding of the yogic path, embodiment, and teaching as tools for social change.”

These fees include the virtual training components as well as the in-person immersion (basic lodging, meals, and activities). Trainees interested in more private accommodations for the immersion can reserve these on a first-come-first served basis for an additional cost. “Zaquia is my all time favorite yoga instructor! I’ve enjoyed learning from her for over 10+ years. Her classes are a sweet combination of fun, challenge, creativity and exploration. My body has been through so many injuries; I feel safe and cared for in her classes. She masterfully leads us through a thoughtful flow, no matter what level/style." - Des

“Zaquia possesses an unmistakable mastery of movement and embodied practice, one that can only come from a lifetime of careful, devoted exploration. There is an artistry to the way she teaches that feels both well informed and true to the immediacy of the moment. Her verbal cues are like subtle windows opening onto entirely new landscapes of awareness. She teaches not just movement, but a new way of perceiving. Warm, open, generous, and clear, she is quite simply the best instructor I’ve ever had.” - J
